Bituflex20 is a waterproofing product made of polypropylene-modified bitumen (APP), specially designed for sealing and filling expansion joints in structures built of concrete or other materials. Solid at ambient temperature, it becomes liquid and pourable when heated to 150 °C, then returns to its solid state as it cools, providing durable, flexible sealing of the joint.
It is intended for the treatment of expansion joints in flat roofs, concrete slabs and floors and, more generally, in structures subject to differential movement and temperature variations. It is also suitable for filling and sealing gaps and cracks on concrete substrates.
Thanks to its APP formulation with high thermal stability, Bituflex20 offers excellent heat resistance, good cold flexibility and very good resistance to ageing. Applied by direct pouring or by spatula, it ensures uniform and complete filling of joints, with good adhesion to concrete, a good ability to accommodate movement and very low sensitivity to water. Its bucket packaging makes handling and dosing on site easier.
